At the Spring General Meeting of the Alberta School Boards' Association, the Hon. Dave Hancock told boards there would be no additional funding in this budget for cash strapped boards. According to this Calgary Herald article, "School Boards warned not to expect more funds," the Education Minister did make a "promise to take a look at addressing rising fuel costs" impacting transportation and approach the Treasury Board for additional funding.
